Tallow Creek School

Tallow Creek Schoolhouse’s original split cedar shake shingles withstood the test of time, but they were approaching one hundred years of age, and it showed. The schoolhouse serves the small, remote community of Tallow Creek, and the schoolhouse is essential to the families in the area with children.

Using MHF funds, the Tallow Creek Schoolhouse was re-roofed with metal, ensuring the building is in use for years into the future.
