St. Labre Parish – St. Labre Cemetery Map Project

The St. Labre Cemetery Project will improve the records and celebrate the history of the Northern Cheyenne tribe at St. Labre Parish in Ashland, MT. St. Labre Cemetery was one of the first cemeteries established on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation, and therefore it contains considerable significance to the tribe, as many ancestors are buried there. Fieldwork, GIS and research will be performed by an experienced consultant for this project.
