Monarch-Neihart Historical Group-Train Depot Roof

With holes in the roof leaking onto the interior ceiling and the foundation being poorly drained it is no wonder the historic 1902 Great Northern Train Depot fell into disrepair. The depot served as the community center for decades, bringing people together and preserving history. Using MHF funds, the Monarch Neihart Historical Group replaced the leaky roof with new asphalt tiles and shore up the foundation of the building from years of water damage.

By restoring the Monarch Depot, the community can once again use the space for gatherings and events and ensure the rich history of the Monarch Depot is preserved.
