HOW TO GIVE

  • is a unique and exciting tax incentive that offers a credit of 40% on qualified gifts. The Foundation for Montana History’s Permanent Grant Program Endowment and Permanent Operations Endowment qualify for this tax credit.

    The Montana Charitable Tax Credit also allows a qualified business to receive a tax credit of 20% of a gift’s federal charitable deduction for a direct gift to our endowment.

    Don’t file taxes in Montana? You can still make a planned gift to an endowment and receive a significant federal income tax deduction.
