Butte Citizens for Preservation and Revitalization, “The Story of Butte,” Butte, $10,000 Grant: The Butte Citizens for Preservation and Revitalization will hire three historians and an editor to create new tours and content for their website and app called ‘The Story of Butte’. City County of Butte-Silver Bow, “Revolving Copper Door Restoration,” Butte, $10,000 Grant: The City County of Butte-Silver Bow will collaborate with a specialist craftsman to restore and make the historic copper revolving doors functional at the entrance of the county courthouse. Friends of the Dillon Public Library, “Carnegie Library Restoration,” Dillon, $10,000: The Friends of the Dillon Public Library will restore three historic windows on the northwest wall of the first Carnegie library built in Montana. Myrna Loy, “Window and Jail Restoration,” Helena, $10,000: The Myrna Loy will restore and protect the weathered windows and exterior oak on the original jail doors. Learn more about this historic building at https://themyrnaloy.com.
