Carter County Geological Society, “Educator’s Guide to Eastern Montana Museums,” Ekalaka, $10,000 Grant: The Carter County Geological Society will create a series of teacher guides to Eastern Montana museums. Miles City Convent Keepers, “Exterior Paint and Window Project,” Miles City, $10,000 Grant: The Miles City Convent Keepers will restore and install new storm windows to historical standards on the Convent Keepers’ building. Prairie County Museum, “Strategic Framework Development,” Terry, $7,500 Grant: The Prairie County Museum and Evelyn Cameron Gallery will hire a consultant to develop a 3-year strategic framework for the museum’s long-term development. Treasure County 89ers, “Yucca Theatre Pillar Dome Repair,” Hysham, $10,000 Grant: The Treasure County 89ers will repair eight pillar domes at the Yucca Theatre to prevent further water damage to the historic structure. Learn more about this structure at https://historicmt.org/items/show/2125.


Western Heritage Center, “Constructing Textile Storage Covers,” Billings, $5,870: The Western Heritage Center will contract a sewing professional to construct safe textile storage covers for their historic clothing collection. Yellowstone River Parks Association, “Dover Park Cultural History Interpretation,” Billings, $9,600 Grant: The Yellowstone River Parks Association will hire two Rocky Mountain College students to provide historical interpretation of John H.
