The Cascade County Historical Society – Cascade County Historical Society Oral History Program

The Cascade County Historical Society will conduct oral history interviews with ten residents in the county to record and contextualize the larger story of Central Montana. Stories from Catholic nuns, an African American pastor, and business owners provide the context for this wide-ranging and important project.

Funding for this project was made possible through a partnership with the Montana State Library to regrant ARPA digitization funds. Results of this project will be made available on the Montana Memory Project.
