Historic Crail Ranch Homestead Museum – Interpretive Signage

Big Sky, Montana has not always been a hot spot for tourists, skiers, travelers, and condo-owners—it was once a 960 acre plot of land made up of farmers and ranchers. The mission of the Historic Crail Ranch Homestead Museum is to make the historical context and details of one of Montana’s most iconic sites available to residents and visitors in Big Sky. It is imperative that the community honors and remembers Big Sky’s ranching roots, which is why the Historic Crail Ranch is adding to its interpretative signage that the museum developed in 2015 for the museum’s west view. The Montana History Foundation is funding the Historic Crail Ranch Homestead Museum to develop north view interpretative signage for museum guests to enjoy.
