City and County of Butte-Silver Bow – Restoration of Sewell’s Prism and Stained Glass Transom in Butte

The 103-year-old transom window at the historic Sewell Hardware Building in Butte will be restored with a grant from MHF. A highly-visible and beloved architectural feature of the uptown’s commercial district, the window consists of panels of prism glass tiles adorned by “SEWELL’S” in red stained glass.
