Centennial Valley Historical Society – Photo Digitization Project
The Centennial Valley Historical Society (CVHS) was founded in 2003 when twelve people began meeting and working together to preserve the history of this remote ranching area in southwest Montana. Despite an abundance of historical artifacts, photographs, documents, and sites, no organization was explicitly devoted to preserving Centennial Valley history.
With funding MHF, CVHS collected, scanned, and archived deteriorating photographs and documents. Many of the documents contained diverse information about the people and structures who lived, worked, and settled in the area around Lima, Dell, and Monida.
