Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives – Plats, Lodes, Placers

The Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives holds a collection of maps and drawings which includes original plats, lodes, placers, road maps, sewer maps, water maps, school maps, and drawings of Butte structures. The collection was in need of cataloging, preservation, and storage.

Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives used MHF funds to catalog and scan the collection and upload the scans to the Montana Memory Project. This project made the collection easily available to the public for research purposes and preserved the originals.
