Beaverhead County Museum – Argenta School

The Argenta School, which is part of the Beaverhead County Museum campus, serves as a reminder of Montana’s one-room schoolhouse legacy. The schoolhouse is used as a community center and helps provide educational programs. The building was facing high levels of sunlight that was damaging the interior of the structure. Using MHF funds, Beaverhead County Museum Association purchased and installed UV windows to protect the schoolhouse from the damaging effects of the sun.
