FREE Benton Avenue Cemetery Preservation Workshop
Whether you're an enthusiast, a professional, or a community member looking to make a difference, our cemetery masterclasses are here to help! We bring in experts to give participants hands-on experience and resources to better understand cemeteries from symbolism to best preservation practice and everything in between!
The Workshop is on Wednesday, July 17 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Benton Avenue Cemetery in Helena.
This workshop is FREE and open to the public. Please bring water, a sack lunch, and dress to work with your hands (hats, shoes, gloves etc.)
Workshop Includes:
Expert conservator Jonathan Appell with the 48 State Tour
Hands-on training and demonstrations of proper restoration practices
Networking with professionals and fellow enthusiasts
Further resources to help understand, appreciate, and preserve cemeteries!
